"Announcing Mr and Mrs Dave !"

We travelled to Turkey in October 2004 for one of our trips of a lifetime with Ray, Diane and Seascape. We were getting married on this trip. Of course, we never knew what to expect, but we are pretty much live for the moment people so that was fine with us. You'd want to be live by the moment people when your wedding was 5 days sooner than anticipated - what a scamble to get the vows finished!

We got married at Ogun's in Ova Buku on October 5th and it was my extreme pleasure to be given away by Ogun and married by Ray. It was a relief to know how serious Ray could be when he really needed to be. Our wedding was no less than "perfect".

It was not only being in a beautiful bay in Turkey standing on a rock in the water, barefoot, but it was also being surrounded by the most wonderful shipmates that we could have ever been paired with. And absolutely stress free, thanks to Diane who took care of the many finer details. Of course there was our Best Man and Woman - Anna & Treb. Our dearest frients of only a few days on board the Anna Maria. Who would have thought that people we had never met before could become that close in such a short time.

And not to forget Ogun for the entertainment and preparation, his sister for the reception meal and cake and also Des for flying full flags on the Angelina and almost getting arrested for not having the Turkish flag at the top.

I will never forget our special day as long as I live. Seascape is Number 1 in our books and we can't wait for the day when we join them on those turqoise waters once again.
