Sailing the Dodecanese Greek islands - SeaScape.

Sept 19-25       GREECE

Late September is a lovely mellow in the Greek isles. The hustle and bustle of Aug has faded, and the islands have a more peaceful ambiance again. The winds are generally still good, but not the v strong blows one can get in the "meltemi" season (mid July - end Aug).

We'll be sailing from our home island of Leros, and exploring as many of our favourites as we can in one week ! The route will cover a mixture of little, old-fashioned villages and some of the more famous islands like Patmos... with some of our especially favourite tiny spots included, of course - like our little paradise island of Marathi, with two families, a lovely sandy beach and some of the best food around!

This week starts in Leros and ends in Kos - with our boats sailing south from Kos onwards to the Turqoise Coast afterwards, for a beautifully warm and sunny fall in Turkey !
