Sailing in the Greek islands - SeaScape

Sept 4-17

September.... and things start to become a little more mellow in the Greek isles. The main heat of Aug dies away, and there is a kind of fall "glow" to the atmosphere. The meltemi starts to fade a little, but there's still plenty of great wind for sailing.

We'll still be doing our favourite 2wk route, sailing from our home island of Leros, down to the traditional sponge-fishing island of Kalymnos, where another SeaScape tradition awaits us - our adopted "Momma"'s homemade dolmades! (stuffed grapeleaves). The route is a mixture of such little, old-fashioned villages and some of the more famous islands like Patmos and Samos... with some of our especially favourite tiny spots included, of course - like our little paradise island of Marathi, with two families, a lovely sandy beach and some of the best food around!

You can join this trip for one week or two; the midpoint for end of wk1/start of wk2 is Pythagoras's island, Samos.
